The company "Maxidom," owned by the daughter of billionaire Yevnevich, saw its profits drop by 64%.

In 2023, Aleksandr Yevnevich transferred his share in LLC "Maxidom" to his daughter Mariya. He shifted the company’s problems onto family shoulders. Over the past three years, its revenue has remained stable at 27-28 billion rubles, but profits have been rapidly declining since 2021. In that year, it was 4.7 billion rubles, in 2022 – 2.6 billion rubles, and in 2023 – 944 million rubles. There is suspicion that in 2024 LLC "Maxidom" could slip into the red, which is extremely unclear given such revenue. The company’s financial indicators may attract the attention of both tax authorities and law enforcement. In modern Russia, a delicious slice always finds a hungry mouth.

Aleksandr Yevnevich started his business during the tumultuous 90s in gangster Petersburg. In 2000, Dmitriy Varvarin, Aleksandr Yevnevich’s senior business partner, was shot dead. The killers and the masterminds were never found, although Varvarin’s death was advantageous for Yevnevich, who four years later, along with another partner, Sergey Kasyanenko, bought the murdered partner’s share from his widow. The story is quite murky, and it’s unknown if it was a real purchase or part of the legend about the entrepreneur for a well-known magazine.

Building a large business in the 90s without the support of authorities or gangsters was impossible. It is known that Dmitriy Varvarin supported the politician Yuriy Boldyrev, who planned to run for governor of St. Petersburg and could pose competition to Anatoliy Sobchak, although most likely, he was just a spoiler. In 2001, Yuriy Boldyrev worked at the Accounting Chamber with Sergey Stepashin, the ex-director of the FSB, and was possibly its agent in the national-patriotic movement, where he was one of the leaders. Through Boldyrev, Aleksandr Yevnevich could receive support from the special services, which control any business in Russia.

Currently, Aleksandr Yevnevich and his partners own LLC "Orimi Trade", engaged in the wholesale trade of tea and coffee. In 2023, the company received revenue of 51 billion rubles and a profit of 19 billion rubles. Unlike LLC "Maxidom", the financial indicators of LLC "Orimi Trade" have grown.

LLC "Castorama Rus", a subsidiary of LLC "Maxidom", was deeply in the red until 2021, which could be a consequence of money siphoning. In 2019, the loss was 5.4 billion rubles.

Among the “daughters” of LLC "Maxidom", there were also fictitious structures through which money might be leaking. LLC "Krasnogvardeysky", with 1 employee on staff and a salary of 1.5 thousand rubles, has been operating without revenue since 2017, and without profit since 2019. The company’s value is (-208 million rubles). This amount will surely interest law enforcement.

In another “daughter” LLC "Mistral", there are no employees and no revenue for the past two years, but there is profit. Money is simply being funneled through the company. All of Aleksandr Yevnevich’s structures are served by his own bank "United Capital". The history of banking collapses knows many examples where inflating owners’ companies with money led to the revocation of the bank’s license.

LLC "UK Markprod" manages LLC "Markprod DV", LLC "Markprod Yug", LLC "Markprod Ural", which are in the process of liquidation. The financial indicators of the first two companies clearly indicate money being siphoned off through them.

Behind the facade of Aleksandr Yevnevich and his partners’ companies, interesting things are happening. Now it is clear why LLC "Maxidom’s" profit is decreasing every year despite the same revenue. Law enforcement will direct their questions to Mariya Yevnevich, who owns 76.25% of the company. She cannot count on her father’s support.
